I made it.
I just wanted to say how amazing it is that I made it through the week. I pulled 3 all nighters in a row (I did have about 2-3 hours of sleep per night) and managed to get all the work done for the week. As much as my animation was about procrastination I really wasn’t procrastinating. just because I had to scramble at the last minute to get it done doesn’t mean I was putting it off. I was just busy with the other insane amount of work my other classes have poured on me that last couple weeks. Seriously 4 studio classes and an advanced art history class did seem a little on the crazy side. But when you add 25 hours of work at Cracker Barrel a week it become pure insanity. To get everything done for my classes and make it to work on time I have to sacrifice; sleep, healthful food, exercise, a clean house, my social life, hygiene, and my sanity. It’s no wonder that I’m getting sick all the time, or that my hair seems to be falling out or that my fingernails feel like tissue paper, or that for the first time since I was 13 I have had a problem with acne. Not to mention that I have a poor puppy with fleas and I’m not sure how long she has had them because I barely pay attention to her anymore with this schedule I have. I’ve done the math on my hourly budget for each week: 25 hours for work. if I sleep 7 hours a night that is 42 hours for sleep. 30 hours class time, probably 20 hours for homework. that gives me only 40ish hours to eat, clean myself, hang out with friends, relax, go grocery shopping, clean my apartment, do the dishes, do the laundry, and do any sort of hobby or anything even fun like listen to music or watch a movie. I guess that schedule isn’t that crazy if I never stop moving, never take a break, and never waste time ranting about how busy I am on my tumblr blog.
Vimeo seems to not like this video so I uploaded it on youtube instead and there is some strange white pause at the end that is not in my animation. but at least it’s up now.
here is the same procrastination animation but a little added to it. I still need to think about sound. I would really like to add video but that will be a challenge. I’m starting to get somewhere now.
this is the farthest I’ve gotten with my flash animation. it’s about procrastination and I’m using screen shots to make the animation. but yeah this it is so far.
ok here is the newest logo video. I know it looks simple but it was painstaking. And there is some glitches that I can’t seem to get past. I’m posting it anyway.
